Notes:
* Fee adjustment planned for March 31, 2020 was
deferred to September 1, 2020 due, in large part, to the COVID-19
pandemic.
** Fees under $100 are not subject to the Service Fees Act.
*** The OSB has received confirmation that the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA) levy is not captured by the new 2023 Service Fees Act (SFA) definition of a fee, which came into force on June 22, 2023. The BIA levy (i.e. BIA Rule 123 in its entirety) is now exempt from the SFA.
This means that no further annual Consumer Price Index adjustments should be applied to the levy for summary administrations, BIA Rule 123 (3). So, the maximum levy rate amount payable for the levy in summary administrations will remain at $215.14.
