Changes to Forms to include support for electronic filings of Joint Division I Proposal documents (2011-12) and a correction to the schema documentation for Form79

Summary

This is an updated edition of the schema for E-Filing version 4.13. Corrections to the schema documentation for Form 79 have been made. These Form 79 changes do not affect any fields or stylesheet versions on Form 79. The correct version for Form 79 for submissions to estates to which the September 18, 2009, amendments apply is still 2010-12.
Schema changes have been made to support initial filings of (and filing of subsequent documents to) joint Division I proposals. Changes have been made to Form10, Form29, Form30, Form33, Form34, Form38, Form40, Form40.1, Form41, Form43, Form43.1, Form44.1, and Form92. A new unique XML version number is to be used, 2011-12. This new XML version will be put into place on December 16, 2011 and will be enforced in March, 2012.


Form 79, Statement of Affairs (Non-Business Bankruptcy/Proposal)

Form 79 - The xs documentation for the elements <PriorProposal> and <BankruptBefore> have been corrected to accord with Directive 8R8.

Form 10, Application of Trustee for Discharge (Rule 61 and subsection 66(1) of the Act)

Form 10 - The field <Bankrupt> is being replaced by the optional repeating field <Debtor>

  • The xs documentation for the element <BankruptBefore> has been corrected from "12B. True if the debtor had ever been a bankrupt before, either in Canada or elsewhere" to "11B. True if the debtor had ever been a bankrupt before in Canada" per Directive 8R8. Additionally the line numbering has been corrected throughout the schema.

  • The field <Bankrupt> has been made optional and is now deprecated. It has been replaced by the optional repeating field <Debtor> of type osb:LegalEntity which should be used from now on. The usage of this new field will be enforced after March, 2012.
