Certification mark text

The certification mark as used by registered nurses authorized by the Canadian Nurses Association Association des Infirmières et Infirmiers du Canada certifies the quality and competency of the cardiovascular nursing practices performed by those certified by the Canadian Nurses Association Association des Infirmières et Infirmiers du Canada in cardiovascular nursing; and indicates that those persons have fulfilled specific standards of education, practical experience and examination in the field of health care relevant to nursing specializing in cardiovascular nursing care including health promotion, prevention, acute care and rehabilitation, and assisting clients to obtain and maintain optimal heart healthy cardiovascular health. Attached to this application is the Blueprint for Cardiovascular Specialty which specifically sets out a compilation of competencies required of the Certified Cardiovascular Nurse and Guidelines on how the competencies are measured to achieve certification in this specific area of practice.
