The use of the certification mark is intended to indicate that the specific goods and services listed above in association with which it is used are of the following defined standard: The mark ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF ARCHITECTS & Design, when affixed to the class 9 goods, indicates to the user that the class 9 goods have met the standards of being a sponsor of the Ontario Association of Architects Conference (the "OAA Conference") or a recipient of the Ontario Association of Architects Public Awareness Sponsorship program ("OAA Public Awareness Sponsorship program"). In both instances, (a) the product offering must be in line with the business and practice of architecture, (b) the sponsor or recipient of the sponsorship does not contravene the Architects Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. A.26, or the Regulations enacted thereunder, namely R.R.O. 1990, REGULATION 27,and (c) the sponsor or recipient of the sponsorship's mandate is not in opposition of the Ontario Association of Architects' mandate. Briefly, the Architects Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. A.26, indicates the objectives of the Ontario Association of Architects are, (a) to establish, maintain and develop standards of knowledge and skill among members, (b) to establish, maintain and develop standards of qualification and standards of practice for the practice of architecture, (c) to establish, maintain and develop standards of professional ethics among members, (d) to establish and maintain or to assist in the establishment and maintenance of classes, schools, exhibitions or lectures in, and to promote public appreciation of, architecture and the allied arts and sciences. As a sponsor of the OAA Conference, once a sponsorship agreement is signed, sponsors are permitted to use the ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF ARCHITECTS & Design as prescribed by the Ontario Association of Architects, and it must be clearly stated that is it in connection with them being a sponsor of the OAA Conference. As a a recipient of the OAA Public Awareness Sponsorship program, third parties may be permitted to use the mark ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF ARCHITECTS & Design in accordance with the specifications provided by the Ontario Association of Architects and only in connection with the program for which the third party has been granted sponsorship funding. The Architects Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. A.26 and the Regulations enacted thereunder, namely R.R.O. 1990, REGULATION 27, is available to, and easily accessible by, the public from the webpage https://oaa.on.ca/protecting-the-public/the-architects-act-and-oaa-bylaws. A copy of the the Architects Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. A.26 and the Regulations enacted thereunder, namely R.R.O. 1990, REGULATION 27, is on file. The mark ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF ARCHITECTS & Design, when affixed to the class 35 and class 42 services, indicates to the user that the class 35 and class 42 services are performed with a similar commitment to responsible policies and practices as the Ontario Association of Architects' ongoing commitment to operating in a transparent and fair manner with a focus on human rights, ethics, and climate stability, and where applicable, the Ontario Association of Architects also commits to utilizing the qualifications-based selection procurement model. If the Ontario Association of Architects decides that the nature of the services should include the ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF ARCHITECTS & Design, agreement is given to use the ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF ARCHITECTS & Design as prescribed by the Ontario Association of Architects.
