The trademark consists of the position of the blue colour as applied to the whole of the visible surface of the cap of the three-dimensional bottle and the position of three labels applied to a three-dimensional bottle, as shown in the visual representation. The first label appears on the middle front of the bottle, the wording "JOSE CUERVO ESPECIAL" appears on the label, the signature JOSE CUERVO appears in cursive letters behind the wording, seven coins appear above the label, a seal with the words "FABRICA LA ROJENA TEQUILA" with a crest containing a design of a raven, agave plant and coa (agave harvesting tool) surrounded by floral leaves and a ribbon design appears at the bottom of the label, the same crest appears on the second label as described below.
