Trademark description

The mark is a combination of signs, namely a moving image combined with sounds, comprising one trademark, reflected in the audio-visual electronic representation included in the application. Colour is claimed for the trademark. The moving image occurs in two stages: Stage 1: The text "Life" appears on screen, all in white, against a black backdrop. The text "In", in ochre, then rolls in immediately to the left of the "Life" text such that the onscreen text forms "InLife" (the "InLife Text"). Stage 2: A visual design wholly comprising of angled text "Interac", in black, with a hand design, also in black, below the "In" letter, both set against an ochre square backdrop with rounded corners (the "Interac Design Logo"), rolls in to replace the InLife Text. The colour ochre is HEX FFB92A and the colour black is HEX 2D2926. The sound consists of a series of musical events in an A minor key running simultaneously with the moving image and consisting of three components: First, a shiny bright synthesizer picks up on the 2nd 8th note of the 1st beat in a cascading 16th notes on A in octaves ending on 2nd 8th note of the 2nd beat. It starts on A7 and goes down to A3. A reverbed piano sound starts on the fourth 16th note of the 2nd beat on a E. Second, the 3rd beat contains 3 notes starting with an appoggiatura on a G# leading to an A (16th note), followed by a B (8th note) and a E (16th note). The fourth beat concludes the audio logo with a sustained A octaves (8th note tied to dotted half note in the following bar). The rhythm of the piano is doubled by a snare drum and percussion. Third, an echoed, low/mid pluck synthesizer sound starts on the 3rd beat on an A3 (dotted 8th note) followed by A3 on the 4th 16h note of the 3rd beat tied to the 1st 8th note of the 4th beat. The 2nd 8th note of the 4th beat is on an A3 (8th note tied to the 1st 16th note of the 1st beat of the next bar). Followed by an A3 on the 2nd 16th note of bar 2 (dotted 8th note) ending on an A3 on the 2nd beat of bar 2 (8th note).
