Canada Small Business Financing Act
Description
The Canada Small Business Financing Regulations require a number of minor technical and clarificatory amendments in order to repeal unnecessary provisions, correct discrepancies between the English and French versions and clarify language to reflect current operational and administrative practices. The plan is make these amendments through the Miscellaneous Amendment Regulations (MARs) process.

The proposal is not related to either domestic or international regulatory cooperation efforts.
Potential impacts on Canadians, including businesses
The proposed amendments are of a "housekeeping" nature and are not expected to have a impact on Canadians or Canadian small businesses. There is also not expected to be any change in administrative costs or administrative burden to businesses.
Consultations
Consultations were not conducted as the amendments are technical, administrative and non-controversial in nature. In addition, they do not impose new restrictions or regulatory burdens on Canadian individuals or businesses.
