Help: New amateur application
(Exam score submission by examiner)

This service is available only for accredited examiners and is used to submit exam scores for a new amateur certification. If the amateur is already certified please use Submit additional exam scores (Request by examiner).

Step 1

You must provide your examiner accreditation number, amateur number, as well as your date of birth. This is to ensure that you are the holder of a valid amateur certification and that you are an accredited examiner. Your examiner number can be found on your letter of accreditation and your amateur number can be found on your certificate.

Step 2

Enter the amateur's information, including exam scores, by completing the mandatory fields and then click the "Submit" button to send the information to us. Error messages will be listed at the top of the page if any of the information is invalid.

Provide only the scores for exams where a passing grade was achieved.

Step 3

A confirmation page is displayed including a confirmation number which you can print and keep for your records. Use this confirmation number to refer to this request in case you need assistance.

An authorization key will be generated and emailed to the amateur using the email address provided by you. The amateur will be instructed to use this key to complete his/her personal information and to select a call sign. Once this is done the application will be reviewed by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and, once approved, a certificate will be mailed to the applicant.
