As you may be aware, the Government of Canada's Budget 2025 announced that to better align its programs with current priorities and reduce redundancies, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada will transfer delivery of the Canadian Small Business Financing Program (CSBFP) to the Business Development Bank of Canada.
In the meantime, the program will continue to operate as usual, and lenders can be assured that government will maintain the integrity of the CSBFP.
