Canadian Copyrights Database

Disclaimer

The Canadian Copyrights Database includes all copyrights that have been registered since October 1, 1991, pursuant to the Copyright Act. Some grant of interest registrations prior to 1991 may be included in the Database.

This database is for information purposes only and business decisions should not be made based on this search alone. Recent updates, corrections or changes may not be included, as the information is updated nightly (excluding weekends). A "grace period" practice to allow mail to go through the system can delay information for at least six weeks and affect administrative status.

To obtain complete details related to the Canadian Copyrights Database contents, please consult the Help section.

If you require additional information, please contact us.

Conditions of Use

The Copyrights Database is intended for use by the general public. Due to limitations of equipment and bandwidth, it is not intended to be a source for bulk downloads of Canadian Copyright data. Clients who deny service to the general public by generating unusually high numbers of daily Database accesses may be denied access to the Canadian Copyrights Database server without further notice.
