The Canadian Industrial Designs Database contains information pertaining to all industrial designs registered in Canada since 1861.
This database is for information purposes only and business decisions should not be made based on this search alone. Recent updates, corrections or changes may not be included, as the information is updated every Thursday. A "grace period" practice to allow mail to go through the system can delay information for at least six weeks and affect administrative status.
Recognizing that technical issues may impact image quality when viewing or printing from the online database, users are advised to consult the physical file as it contains the best representation of the design. This may be especially useful for viewing designs that include colour as a registerable feature.

Conditions of Use
The Industrial Designs Database is intended for use by the general public. Due to limitations of equipment and bandwidth, it is not intended to be a source for bulk downloads of Canadian Industrial Design data. Clients who, in effect, deny service to the general public by generating unusually high numbers (1000 or more) of daily Database accesses may be denied access to the Canadian Industrial Designs Database server without further notice.
You should also note that CIPO does not collect information about search entries or results obtained by individual users of the site.
