Cleantech companies

Developed by Natural Resources Canada, this data and dashboard provides an overview of the number of Canadian pure-play cleantech companies split by industry and province. Pure-play cleantech companies are defined as companies that are predominantly engaged in developing and/or using innovative technologies that provide environmental benefits.

This data is part of the work of the Industry Pillar of the Clean Technology Data Strategy, which is led by Natural Resources Canada and is accurate as of April 2022.
