Where possible, the Bureau will publicly communicate the results of certain investigations, inquiries and merger reviews by way of a position statement. This is consistent with our commitment to providing transparency to the antitrust community, industry stakeholders and the public.
In the case of a complex merger review, a position statement briefly describes the Bureau's analysis of a proposed transaction and summarizes its main findings.
