Diversity information disclosure under the Canada Business Corporations Act. (2020)

Data collection

The data has been extracted from public information contained in the disclosure documents filed with Corporations Canada or with Canadian Securities Administrators SEDAR system (SEDAR) and reported in the table as disclosed. Corporations Canada cannot guarantee that the information contained in the table is accurate, current, or complete, or that it has been extracted and reported correctly, and therefore it cannot guarantee the accuracy, currency or completeness of the information.

Methodology

The reference to executive officers in the disclosure documents has been considered to be equivalent to senior management. The definition of executive officer under the Canadian securities laws is similar to the definition of senior management under the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA).  

To ensure consistency and mitigate the challenges related to the lack of standardization in how the information was reported while reporting the disclosed information in the table, the following methodology has been developed. For each column, the information extracted has been reported in the table as follows:
