Annexe F - Utilisation des graphiques d’intensité de champ
Pour déterminer la distance d’un contour au moyen des graphiques, on utilise la procédure suivante :
- Convertir la p.a.r. (en kW) pour l’azimut pertinent en une valeur en décibels par rapport à 1 kW (dBk).
- Soustraire la valeur de puissance en dBk de la valeur de contour en dBµV/m. Notons que pour les puissances inférieures à 1 kW, la différence est plus élevée que la valeur de contour puisque la puissance en dBk est négative.
- Trouver la différence obtenue sur l’axe vertical à gauche du graphique.
- Suivre la ligne horizontale pour cette valeur jusqu’à l’intersection de la ligne verticale audessus de l’HASM pour l’azimut en question au bas du graphique.
- Si le point d’intersection ne tombe pas directement sur une courbe de distance, interpoler entre les courbes de distance situées audessus et audessous du point d’intersection. Les distances des courbes sont inscrites à droite du graphique.
- Dans les directions où le terrain est tel que la hauteur d’antenne est négative ou inférieure à 30 mètres dans la zone de 3 à 16 km, supposer une hauteur de 30 mètres pour calculer l’intensité de champ.
- Pour estimer la force de champ lorsqu’on utilise les courbes de propagation de la présente annexe, toute valeur d’HASM excédant 1600 mètres doit être limitée à 1600 mètres.
Estimation de l’intensité de champ dépassée à 50 % des emplacements récepteurs, au moins 10 % du temps, pour une hauteur d’antenne réceptrice de 9 mètres
Description de la figure F1
Les courbes du graphique 1 donnent, en dBµV/m , une estimation de l’intensité dépassée à 50 % des emplacements récepteurs, au moins 10 % du temps, pour une hauteur d'antenne réceptrice de 9 mètres et une p.a.r. du transmetteur de 1 kilowatt, et ceci dans la bande VHF inférieure (canaux 2 à 6). Chaque courbe correspond à une distance (entre 15 km et 500 km). Chacune de ces courbes permet d’obtenir pour différentes hauteurs au‑dessus du sol moyen (HASM), l’estimation de l’intensité de champ correspondante à la distance donnée de la courbe. L’échelle de l’axe vertical affiche les valeurs de l’estimation de l’intensité de champ et s’étend de −40 à +90 dBµV/m. L’échelle de l’axe horizontal est logarithmique; elle affiche les valeurs de la HASM et s’étend de 30 à 1600 mètres. Il y a 50 courbes correspondant aux distances suivantes (en km) : 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, 200, 210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260, 270, 280, 290, 300, 310, 320, 330, 340, 350, 360, 370, 380, 390, 400, 410, 420, 430, 440, 450, 460, 470, 480, 490, 500.

Les courbes de la figure F3 donnent, en dBµV/m , une estimation de l’intensité dépassée à 50 des emplacements récepteurs, au moins 10 % du temps, pour une hauteur d'antenne réceptrice de 9 mètres et une p.a.r. du transmetteur de 1 kilowatt, et ceci dans la bande UHF (canaux 14 à 69). Chaque courbe correspond à une distance (entre 15 km et 500 km). Chacune de ces courbes permet d’obtenir pour différentes hauteurs au‑dessus du sol moyen (HASM), l’estimation de l’intensité de champ correspondante à la distance donnée de la courbe. L’échelle de l’axe vertical affiche les valeurs de l’estimation de l’intensité de champ et s’étend de −40 à +90 dBµV/m. L’échelle de l’axe horizontal est logarithmique; elle affiche les valeurs de la HASM et s’étend de 30 à 1600 mètres. Les courbes de la figure F5 donnent, en dBµV/m, une estimation de l’intensité dépassée à 50 % des emplacements récepteurs, au moins 90 % du temps, pour une hauteur d'antenne réceptrice de 9 mètres et une p.a.r. du transmetteur de 1 kilowatt, et ceci dans la bande VHF supérieure (canaux 7 à 13). Chaque courbe correspond à une distance (entre 1.5 km et 300 km). Chacune de ces courbes permet d’obtenir pour différentes hauteurs au‑dessus du sol moyen (HASM), l’estimation de l’intensité de champ correspondante à la distance donnée de la courbe. L’échelle de l’axe vertical affiche les valeurs de l’estimation de l’intensité de champ et s’étend de −30 à +110 dBµV/m. L’échelle de l’axe horizontal est logarithmique; elle affiche les valeurs de la HASM et s’étend de 30 à 1600 mètres. Les courbes de la figure F6 donnent, en dBµV/m, une estimation de l’intensité dépassée à 50 des emplacements récepteurs, au moins 90 % du temps, pour une hauteur d'antenne réceptrice de 9 mètres et une p.a.r. du transmetteur de 1 kilowatt, et ceci dans la bande UHF (canaux 14 à 69). Chaque courbe correspond à une distance (entre 1.5 km et 300 km). Chacune de ces courbes permet d’obtenir pour différentes hauteurs au‑dessus du sol moyen (HASM), l’estimation de l’intensité de champ correspondante à la distance donnée de la courbe. L’échelle de l’axe vertical affiche les valeurs de l’estimation de l’intensité de champ et s’étend de −30 à +110 dBµV/m. L’échelle de l’axe horizontal est logarithmique; elle affiche les valeurs de la HASM et s’étend de 30 à 1600 mètres. Les courbes de la figure F8 onnent, en dBµV/m, une estimation de l’intensité dépassée à 50 % des emplacements récepteurs, au moins 50 du temps, pour une hauteur d'antenne réceptrice de 9 mètres et une p.a.r. du transmetteur de 1 kilowatt, et ceci dans la bande VHF supérieure (canaux 7 à 13). Chaque courbe correspond à une distance (entre 1.5 km et 300 km). Chacune de ces courbes permet d’obtenir pour différentes hauteurs au‑dessus du sol moyen (HASM), l’estimation de l’intensité de champ correspondante à la distance donnée de la courbe. L’échelle de l’axe vertical affiche les valeurs de l’estimation de l’intensité de champ et s’étend de −20 à +110 dBµV/m. L’échelle de l’axe horizontal est logarithmique; elle affiche les valeurs de la HASM et s’étend de 30 à 1600 mètres.
