The International Workboat Show (IWBS) is one of the largest global trade events for the maritime industry, bringing together over 12,000 industry professionals and 500+ exhibitors from 50 countries. Taking place from December 03-05, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana, IWBS represents an opportunity to showcase and promote Canada’s marine industry to international original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their global supply chains. Spanning the commercial, utility, and defense & security marine sectors, attendees will also benefit from expert panel discussions on the opportunities, challenges and new innovations occurring in the marine industry.
Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), Global Affairs Canada (GAC) / Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), and Canada Economic Development for Quebec Region (CED-Q) are working to support Canada’s participation at IWBS 2025. As part of this initiative, the Government of Canada will be organizing and hosting a series of business development initiatives. This will include meeting programs, networking events, and speaker sessions.
