Landscaping products such as sand, gravel and mulch are usually sold in bulk by volume (e.g. in cubic metres) and sometimes by weight (e.g. in kilograms).
The total amount provided to the customer must be shown on the container or the receipt either in metric units, such as cubic centimetres (cm3), cubic metres (m3) and kilograms (kg), or in imperial units, such as cubic feet (ft3), cubic yards (yd3) and pounds (lb).
When buying these products, check the amount you receive at the time of purchase. If you have any concerns, speak with the seller.
