Creating your My ISED Account

Each clerk should have received an invitation email to activate your My ISED Account. Please save this email.

Important: The PIN in your invitation email will be used later in the Linking your GCKey to your My ISED Account procedure.

1. Click on the sign in to your secure provider link in the email.
• Warning – Do NOT bookmark the “sign in to your secure provider” link that was provided in the invitation email.  That link is intended to be used only to create your My ISED Account.

The Choose your secure login provider page will open.

2. Click the GCKey button.

The Welcome to GCKey page will open.

3. In the Simple Secure Access area, click on the Sign Up button.

Warning: Do not sign in using your e-filing credentials.

The Terms and Conditions of Use page will open, requesting that you agree to the terms and conditions of use.

Step 1

1. Agree to this by clicking the I accept button.

The Create your Username page will open.

Step 2

1. Enter a Username, following the recommendations provided on the web page.
2. Click Continue.

The Create Your Password page will open.

Step 3

1. Create your password and enter it into the Create your Password and Confirm your Password fields. Create your password following directions provided on the web page.
2. Click Continue.

The Create your Recovery Questions, Answers and Hints page will open. This information is important if you forget your password and need to recover it.

Step 4

1. Answer the questions and provide the hints in the appropriate fields.
2. Click Continue.

The Optional Account Recovery page will open.

Optional Account Recovery

You will be offered two choices. You can:

• Click on Skip the Optional Account Recovery process to skip the optional account recovery process and link your GCKey to your My ISED Account, or
• Perform the Optional Account Recovery process. We strongly recommend that you choose to skip the Optional Account Recovery at this time. This step can be completed later.

Recommended: Skip the Optional Account Recovery process

In the Optional Account Recovery page, if you decide to skip the optional account recovery process, click the Skip button; the Enter your PIN page will open.

1. Take the PIN that you received in your invitation email and enter that into the Enter your PIN field.

Note: This is the PIN that you received in your invitation letter (the original email that you received that also had your link to GCKey).

2. Click Continue.

The Link your Credentials to a My ISED Account page will open.

3. Enter your first and last name into the appropriate fields.
4. You can enter a mobile phone number, if you like. That is optional.
5. Click Continue

Your E-Filing page will open, usually to your Messages page.

Success! You have linked your GCKey and My ISED Account to your E-Filing web page and you are in your E-Filing page.

Note: When you are finished for the day, don’t forget to log out.
