General Transitional Directive (2021) - Repeal of Directive No. 8R18, The Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act Forms

Directive No. 8R18, The Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act Forms, which amends Form 78, Statement of Affairs (Business Bankruptcy/Proposal) and Form 79, Statement of Affairs (Non-Business Bankruptcy/Proposal), has been repealed.

Directive No. 8R18 was issued on , to remove the gender question from Form 79 and amend the jurat to both Forms 78 and 79. Please note that although the wording of the jurat will not be amended at this time, trustees are to continue following their provincial rules for swearing of oaths. Amendments to the Estate Information Summary introduced on , are also on hold pending further notice.
