College of the North Atlantic is receiving funding for projects at their Stephenville and Corner Brook campuses under the Post-Secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund, which aims to reinvigorate Canada's research and science base, address existing infrastructure needs while contributing to Canada's long-term innovation and sustainability objectives.

Facilities Enhancement for a new Centre for Energy and Thermal Systems (CETS) and essential Campus Quality Upgrades

The project will revitalize the deteriorating building envelope of the campus, and support the construction of a new Centre for Energy and Thermal Systems (CETS). The CETS will improve the quality of education and training spaces dedicated to Power Engineering training.
Heavy Equipment Center of Excellence

Program funding: $9,350,000
Total project cost: $18,978,535
The project will update the Heavy Equipment Center of Excellence in Teaching, Innovation and Industrial Research. This new facility will provide a centralized location dedicated to specialized training in the domain of heavy equipment and increase partnerships with industry.
Renewal and Modernization Projects—Multiple Campus Locations
