I am extremely disappointed to hear of the proposed changes. Net neutrality is a cornerstone of an open and free internet. I do not in any way support the changes being considered. These "piracy" websites are used for much more than copyright material and have legitimate purposes.

And to think that the ISP will have the power to shut down my internet is over reaching and will lead to abuse. I want due process - what will be in place to oversee that this process if fair and independent? The ISP is neither. I can only imagine the nightmare of trying to convince the ISP of an error, accident or that a minor visits these sites without adults' knowledge.

This begs the question what's next? What if the next government of the day doesn't like sites about guns. Should we block those too?
