To whom it may concern,

I'd like to write in to express my support for the copyright submission sent by the Canadian Copyright Institute. As an author, my rights under Canada's copyright law were highest at my birth and have diminished every year since then.

Please stop this damage to authors' rights, initially by implementing the required extension of the copyright term immediately.

After that, it would be nice if you could revise the Copyright Act so that moral rights that all creators need remain as they are but that copyright as it exists right now get divided into two: authoright (that last for the life of a creator plus 70) and copyright (that can be licensed for a maximum of 20 years). This would go a long way to reversing the decline in creators rights.

Cheers, Tracey
