Planned Service Interruption for the Spectrum Management System
Due to planned maintenance, the Spectrum Management System will not be available Wednesday April 29, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. (ET) to 11:59 p.m. (ET).
The National Maritime Information Database (NMID) contains the details (vessel or coast station information, vessel name, owner, type and size, etc.) of all Maritime Mobile Service Identities (MMSIs) assigned to Canadian vessels and coast stations by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).
In addition, it contains the Maritime Identity (MI) numbers and the owner names of all registered MI portable devices.
