Licensee accounts containing protected information

If you are applying for a radio licence as a police force or an embassy of a foreign government (or on their behalf), there are special considerations you need to be aware of.

The licence information about these types of accounts is not disclosed to the public as it is considered “protected information.” To submit a radio licence application (new, modification, copy or cancellation), these licensees must either:

  • submit the application directly from their Web Profile or
  • if they wish to retain the services of an agent, consultant or radio service provider, create a sub-user under their own Web Profile

The licensee is responsible for the management of all sub-user profiles associated to their own.

For more information on sub-users, consult: How to add a sub-user to your Web Profile.

For more information on our disclosure policy, see: Public disclosure of licence information.
