Subject: Extending copyright another 20 years
While I wish that we did not have to extend copyright for 20 years (why can't the rest of the world just cut it back to 50 years?), I would like if Canada adopted rules similar to the EU for orphan and out-of- commerce works (especially for LAMs). I also like the exceptions mentioned in section 4.2 of the Consultation Paper found here (http://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/693.nsf/eng/00188.html).
