Subject: Consultation on how to implement Canada's CUSMA commitment to extend the general term of copyright protection

Good day,

As an end-user, I am disappointed by Canada's agreeing to the extension of copyright, caving to commercial interests in the United States instead of fighting for Canadian consumers. As we now have no recourse but to implement the new CUSMA regime, concrete steps should be taken to mitigate impact to consumers while still complying with the CUSMA in principle.

I'm tired of Canadian governments caving to special interests and constantly giving consumers a raw deal.

Best Regards,

Matt Baillie
