To whom it may concern,
I do not agree that this " Consultation on a modern copyright framework for online intermediaries” is in the best interest of Canadians. Piracy is on a steady decline due to the rise in streaming services. I also think that this framework for online intermediaries will lead to the blocking of content that should be accessible, and will create barriers for Canadian’s to access the internet.
Similar proposals have been rejected by the CRTC, notably in 2018. This proposal should also be rejected.
