Service interruption – Canadian Patents Database (Ongoing)
Due to a significant increase in illegitimate automated traffic to the Canadian Patents Database (CPD), users may experience issues when attempting to access the CPD.
If you're unable to access the CPD, we recommend the following workarounds:
- Clear your browser cache
- Try this direct link to the CPD search options page
- Use a search engine (e.g. Google) to access the CPD
Alternatively, if you wish to search specifically by application or patent number, this feature is also available in MyCIPO Patents under "Search applications or patents". Note that an account is required to log in to the portal.
