Publication of RSS-295 (Issue 1)
Notice is hereby given that Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has published the following standard:
- Radio Standards Specification RSS-295, Issue 1, Licence-Exempt Radio Apparatus Operating in the Frequency Bands 116-123 GHz, 174.8-182 GHz, 185-190 GHz and 244-246 GHz, which sets out the certification requirements for licence-exempt devices operating in the frequency bands 116-123 GHz, 174.8-182 GHz, 185-190 GHz and 244-246 GHz.
General information
The Radio Equipment Standards list will be amended accordingly.
Certification Bodies have one year from the date of publication to amend their recognized scope of accreditation to reflect the new release of this standard in accordance with ISED procedures for conformity assessment bodies.
The Radiocommunication and Broadcasting Equipment Scopes of Accreditation for Certification Bodies will be updated to include RSS-295 under Radio Scope 1.
