Donating is safe

The CFS+ program has refurbished electronic equipment donated by all levels of government, as well as the private and non-for-profit sectors for more than 25 years. It uses industry-leading practices for data erasure and is a trusted source for the responsible handling of used technology.

Donating helps the environment

Since 1993, CFS+ has extended the use of 1.7 million refurbished digital devices nationwide, and has diverted thousands of tonnes of e-waste from landfills. In addition, all CFS+ e-waste is handled by a network of certified recyclers.

Tax break

Your donation to one of our CFS+ Affiliates is tax deductible. Tax receipts, based on fair market value of donated equipment are available for working equipment that meets the minimum standard.
