Radish offers a unique food delivery model that brings together restaurateurs, delivery drivers and customers on a fair and innovative platform. Montréal-based Radish was founded in 2019 to compete with other major platforms, and its mission is to put people and the community at the heart of its operations.
Radish successfully adapted during the pandemic and now has around 30 employee-members and 160 merchant-members. The co-operative stands out with a business model that attracts investors through shares whose value fluctuates, while ensuring that control remains with its members. This approach, rare in the co-operative sector, promotes a balance between economic competitiveness and co-operative principles.
Radish embodies a modern approach to the digital economy, addressing challenges related to innovation, social inclusion and support for small and medium-sized enterprises. Its model inspires other local initiatives, strengthening Quebec's economy while promoting sustainable and fair practices in the food delivery sector.
