Since its inception in 2017, the Advanced Manufacturing Cluster has worked to transform Canada's manufacturing sector into a world-leading advanced manufacturing ecosystem that, by its nature, is diverse, inclusive, collaborative at home and competitive abroad. A world-class ecosystem that builds connections and collaborations through supporting and strengthening 22 smaller clusters; empowers employers to hire highly skilled, diverse Canadians by attracting more than 470,000 youth to explore careers in advanced manufacturing; promotes equitable workplaces so these employees feel supported in their careers; helps project participants secure additional follow-on investments; supports intellectual property (IP) creation and opportunities to commercialize this IP; and assists manufacturers to manage business and technology transformation, including net-zero transformation.
