A light touch for a heavy industry

Using additive printing technologies in oil processing promises to decrease inefficient use of energy, lower water use and eliminate the need for toxic tailings ponds, all significant steps on Canada’s road to 2050. Three Canadian companies are working together to realize this promise. Canadian companies Exergy Solutions and Precision ADM, along with energy giant Suncor Energy, want to bring a light touch to this heavy industry and expand the country’s energy sector more sustainably than ever before.
