Eligibility for the Connecting Families Initiative (CFI) is confirmed annually by the Government of Canada. If you are eligible, you will receive a letter from the Government of Canada or Service Canada inviting you to participate in this initiative.

Families
Families are eligible if they receive the maximum amount of the Canada Child Benefit (CCB). You can check your eligibility using the Canada Child Benefit Calculator.

Seniors
Eligible seniors for the CFI program must receive at least 80% of the maximum amount of Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS), as determined by the Guaranteed Income Supplement Estimator.
