Through the 2024 Fall Economic Statement, the Government of Canada provided $29.2 million to Talent Innovation Canada (TICAN), a national not-for-profit organization that embeds top graduate talent within ambitious, high-growth Canadian firms to develop new technologies. TICAN aims to attract qualified research personnel, facilitate their training and place them with Canadian companies, accelerating the development of breakthrough technologies, enhancing Canada's global competitiveness and strengthening the economy.
