February 06, 2024
This release includes the following updates, improvements and fixes:
- Updated the application to prevent a device from being selected for deactivation on multiple open work orders. If a device is selected for deactivation on an open work order and a second work order is created, the device will not be selectable. An information icon (“i”) appears next to the device serial number. When hovering over the icon, a message will display stating that the device is already selected for deactivation on another work order.
- Updated the application to allow multiple temperature standards to be recorded. It includes changes to the work order, worksheet and the ORA web services API.
- Added the number of the examination certificate, device transfer notice and invoice to the file name of these documents when they are downloaded in order to make them more distinguishable. Previously, all these PDF documents had the same generic file name.
- Updated the application so that it uses Google Maps to populate the address field when a new profile is added. When users complete the address field, they now have the option to select the address suggested by Google Maps or to enter the address manually. This update will reduce key strokes, standardize data entry and reduce errors, while allowing users to enter addresses for rural locations not found by Google Maps.
- Added a “unit number” field in the View establishment profile and Add establishment profile pages. This field was added in conjunction with the Google Maps update. Users can now add a unit number to the establishment’s address when they update or add a new establishment profile.
- Applied a fix so that a required comment message appears when a temperature-compensated device is rejected or seized.
- Updated the search feature when managing and viewing user profiles so that it’s not case sensitive.
- Improved the delivery method field for device examination certificates and transfer notices so that when “mail” is selected as the delivery method, the mailing address of the establishment will display.
- Added a new feature allowing ASP users to receive copies of device examination certificates from ORA. To receive a copy of the certificates for all work orders they have submitted, users can now go to their user profile and select “yes” in the “Receive a copy of certificates” field in the user preferences. Alternatively, to receive a copy of the certificate for a specific work order, they can select the “Send me a copy to” checkbox at Step 5 of the work order.
- Updated the approval number hyperlink to display the list of relevant approvals from the Notice of Approval (NOA) database.
