For 2022, Kapawe'no First Nation School teachers Myles Hokanson, Esther Hokanson, and Dylan Williams are receiving the Prime Minister's Certificate of Achievement. Kapawe'no First Nation School is a new school that offers the provincial curriculum that is embedded in First Nations Education. Cree language instruction and land-based teaching are offered from kindergarten to Grade 12. The Certificate recognizes an entirely new educational approach for First Nations.
