Summary

The goal of this project was to provide an in-depth analysis of the Fair Trade consumer, specifically within Vancouver and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and focusing on a case study of coffee. This study more specifically explored consumer perceptions of the concept of Fair Trade, their motives for consuming products labelled as Fair Trade, and trade-offs made with other product attributes, as well as quantifying the value they place on Fair Trade as a product attribute.
