Summary

Fifty one percent - that's the likelihood of paying for unnecessary repairs in the latest cross Canada investigation of repair shops conducted by the Automobile Protection Association, funded by Industry Canada's Office of Consumer Affairs. Using a specially prepared vehicle equipped with hidden cameras, the APA visited 51 garages in Canada's four largest cities for the correction of a simple problem.
