Thank you for developing the IP-themed program (and paper) on such short notice. The communication addresses several relevant IP-themed challenges and opportunities.
Our suggestion is to avoid excessive restrictive measures on IP products that do not cause personal or organizational injury or loss of opportunities. Or, make the IP provisions too difficult or legislative, which will mostly benefit legal service providers, while curbing creative endeavors.
We also highly recommend empowering Canadians about IP, so we can pursue the amazing benefits afforded by IP assets.
