To whom it may concern,

This is regarding: Consultation on a modern copyright framework for online intermediaries

This does nothing to help Canadians in the middle of a pandemic. These proposals will be limiting and have been rejected before. Bringing these back in the middle of a pandemic is slimy.

Everything about this is all about putting Canadians at a disadvantage to the rest of the world. You'll be taking away people's privacy and options. You'll be limiting Canadian's capabilities on the internet. We have a SERVICE ISSUE in Canada and it's on the end of the media stakeholders. Canadians have shown they're willing to pay for a quality service that treats them with respect and offers a quality product. Giving media giants and Internet service providers even more power is NOT the way to go with how important the internet is in all aspects of our lives.

Canadians did not vote for this federal government to implement this harmful legislation. I'm shocked and appalled that the federal government would even THINK about bringing this type of legislation back when it's been defeated again and again. Stop listening to media industry lobbyists and do your jobs by listening to the Canadian people.

Again, scrap this legislation. It's against an open internet and the net neutrality. The Liberal party said that they would support an open internet and this legislation goes against this.

Thank you,
