Plum equips enterprise organizations with the data and technology they need to hire, develop, and deploy their talent, so they can stay resilient in a rapidly changing world.
Based in Waterloo, Ontario, Plum is a talent management platform that uses science to quantify human potential at scale. With a client base around the world, they help their clients take an intentional approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion by harnessing unbiased data and full transparency in the hiring process.
The Challenge:
Sustaining their growth trajectory
With so many government supports available for Canadian businesses, it can be difficult to know where to start. Before joining the Accelerated Growth Service (AGS), Plum’s fundraising efforts were taking longer than anticipated but they needed additional capital to carry out growth initiatives and support hiring. By identifying programs that were the right fit for their business, AGS helped Plum access the funding and support they needed to take their business further, faster. Their Innovation Advisor put them in touch with key government resources and helped make funding discussions go a lot smoother. As a result of these connections, Plum has been able to hire faster, build their global presence, and develop a strong foundation for future growth.
