Amendment to RSS-287 (Issue 2)
Notice is hereby given that Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has amended the following standard:
- Radio Standards Specification RSS-287 (Issue 2), amendment 2, Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB), Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELT), Personal Locator Beacons (PLB), and Maritime Survivor Locator Devices (MSLD) which sets out the requirements for certification of : emergency position indicating radio beacons (EPIRBs), emergency locator transmitters (ELTs), personal locator beacons (PLBs), and maritime survivor locator devices (MSLDs). This standard was modified to update a reference to a National Search and Rescue Secretariat document (NSS-PLB) in section 2.3.6.
