In support of the ongoing delivery of programs to enhance broadband Internet services in Canada, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) publishes the National Broadband Map, which describes Internet service availability across Canada.
The coverage information shown on the National Broadband Map is sourced from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), through data collected from Internet Service Providers (ISPs). For more information about how this data is compiled, visit the National Broadband Data Information page.
Note: ISED no longer accepts coverage data directly from ISPs. Coverage information is now sourced exclusively from the CRTC. ISPs that previously submitted data directly to ISED should now do so through the CRTC.
Updating your coverage information
ISPs that wish to update or correct the coverage information used on the National Broadband Map should do so directly through the CRTC. Updates submitted to the CRTC will be reflected in subsequent releases of the National Broadband Map.
