The Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS) contains results for all past and present projects funded by the European Union's (EU) research and innovation program. It is a rich and structured public database that includes project participants, submitted reports and deliverables, and links to publications. CORDIS also produces its own publications about the research being done from past and present projects to make it easier to find relevant results in your field of research.

How CORDIS can help
CORDIS provides easy access to information and best practices from past and present EU-funded projects. When developing their proposal, new applicants can access detailed information about all these projects, which can also be used to find partners by exploring project information and participant details. In addition, CORDIS can be used as a tool for researchers to disseminate their findings, and stay informed about the latest developments in EU research and innovation.
Results packs
Results packs provide a brief overview of research results on certain topics, with links to the specific projects. For example, the results pack New tools and insights to better connect citizens with democracy highlights 15 Horizon Europe-funded projects that explore current challenges to democracy and test innovative solutions that support better engagement with the democratic process.
CORDIS search tool
In addition to project links in the results packs, the CORDIS Search tool can also provide access to past and present projects.
You can use the following search filters to find all projects that have entered into grant agreements under Horizon Europe:
- Collection: Projects
- Programme: Horizon Europe framework programme
Note: There may be a delay for a project to appear in CORDIS after the grant agreement is signed.
For a more specific search, use the Call ID or Topic ID filter. For instance, to find all Horizon Europe Cluster 2 projects, enter "CL2" as the Call ID. You can also specify the year of the Cluster 2 call, such as "CL2-2024," or year and destination, such as "2024-DEMOCRACY," "2024-HERITAGE," or "2024-TRANSFORMATIONS." You can also enter just a thematic area such as "DEMOCRACY." Press the ENTER key before pressing "APPLY" when using the Call ID filter.
Alternatively, you can use Topic ID to find projects funded under a specific call topic. In this case, you must know the topic code. Each topic code begins with the framework programme name (such as HORIZON) and ends with the call topic number. For example, the topic ID for the third call topic of the Cluster 2 destination "Democracy and Governance" 2024 call is "HORIZON-CL2-2024-DEMOCRACY-01-03".
CORDIS fact sheets
Each project has a Fact Sheet tab on CORDIS. It includes:
- an abstract and objectives of the project
- fields of expertise and keywords related to the project
- funding programme and call topic information
- all other projects funded under the same call or call topic
- the funding scheme, such as project type, such as Research and Innovation Action (RIA), Innovation Action (IA), or Coordination and Support Action (CSA)
- a map of the project's participating countries
- a table that lists all project partners and participants, with the budgets they requested from the European Commission (net EU contribution)
In addition to the fact sheet, more advanced projects have a "Reporting" tab for project reports, and a "Results" tab with all public project results such as deliverables and publications (that is, conference proceedings, journal articles).
