In the 2004-2005 fiscal year, PIAC received funding approval under the Grants and Contribution Program to continue its Smart Regulation work and to provide input into the External Advisory Committee on Smart Regulation (EACSR) process. The plan was to do an analysis of the regulatory experience in utilities and analogous services particularly as it related to the issues in play in the EACSR review.
