Summary

This report is based on a study of consumer involvement in corporate decision-making in Canada. The Consumers Council of Canada commissioned The Lomberg Network to investigate how and to what extent consumers participate in organizational decision-making in Canada. The study's key objectives were to establish an understanding of how organizations involve consumers, the extent of the involvement, the nature of best practices, and to provide recommendations to encourage greater involvement. Based on the study, the report makes key recommendations to commercial organizations and the government and also provides a 'Blueprint for consumer involvement'.
