Figure 4 – Schematic of Wi-Fi measurement locations

The schematic provides the locations of the 24 laptops and the 2 Wi-Fi access points in the Aurora boardroom. The laptops are located on two rows of tables, with 12 laptops in each row of tables. The Wi-Fi access points are installed at both ends of the boardroom. Twelve measurement locations were pre-selected in the boardroom; 4 locations evenly spaced on one side of one row of tables, 4 locations evenly spaced between the two rows of tables and 4 locations evenly spaced on the other side of the second row of tables. The dimensions of the boardroom are 6.08 meters by 8.53 meters.

Figure E.1 – Signals in the RF ambient environment for the 50 MHz to 3 GHz frequency band

The graph represents the signals in the RF ambient environment in the 50 MHz to 3 GHz frequency band, which capture licence exempt devices, such as Wi-Fi access points in the 2.4 GHz band. In addition, cellular services in the 800 and 1900 MHz bands were prevalent and captured on the meter. The highest exposure level for individual services is approximately 0.00001% of the SC6 limits for the 1900 MHz band.

Figure E.2 – Signals in the RF ambient environment for the 3 to 6 GHz frequency band

The graph represents the signals in the RF ambient environment in the 3 GHz to 6 GHz frequency band. The highest exposure level for individual services is approximately 0.00001% of the SC6 limits close to the 6000 MHz band.
