Radio operator certification

Radio operators need to possess a certain level of expertise to be able to operate radio apparatus installed in aircraft and maritime vessels on the frequencies dedicated to those services. They require training and assessment to ensure they understand the operating and calling procedures necessary in various situations, such as emergencies.

Radio operator certificates are issued to people meeting those requirements.
